Connected-device privacy
Product apps may have separate practices
Some Nuvopet products may connect to a manufacturer's application, cloud service, account system, wireless network, or other third-party platform. Information collected through those services may be handled directly by the manufacturer or platform provider under its own privacy policy.
Review manufacturer permissions
Before enabling camera access, location, notifications, microphone access, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or other device permissions, review the settings and privacy information provided by the applicable product service.
Separate accounts may be required
A product manufacturer may require its own account or application to activate connected features. Those accounts are separate from your direct interaction with Nuvopet.
Control permissions at the device level
Your phone, browser, home network, or manufacturer app may provide controls for notifications, location, camera, microphone, Bluetooth, and related permissions.
Sharing and disclosure
When information may be disclosed
We may disclose personal information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary to operate the website, fulfill orders, support customers, protect the business, or comply with law.
Commerce and technology providers
We may use website hosting, commerce, analytics, security, customer-service, communications, storage, and related technology providers to support site operations.
Payment providers
Payment and transaction providers may process payment credentials, fraud signals, billing information, and other data necessary to authorize or complete a transaction.
Shipping and fulfillment providers
Order information such as your name, delivery address, phone number, order contents, and shipment details may be shared as needed to prepare, transport, track, and deliver orders.
Analytics and advertising providers
We may use analytics, measurement, or advertising services that receive browser, device, cookie, usage, or campaign information. Certain disclosures may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under some U.S. privacy laws even when no money is exchanged.
Professional and legal parties
Information may be disclosed to professional advisers, insurers, auditors, legal authorities, or other appropriate parties when needed to protect rights, investigate misuse, respond to lawful requests, or meet legal obligations.
Business transactions
If Nuvopet is involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, sale, or transfer of business assets, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
Location and access products
Privacy can extend beyond the website
GPS collars, Bluetooth trackers, QR and NFC tags, electronic pet doors, and related connected products may generate or use device-level information through manufacturer services. Nuvopet's website policy does not replace the privacy terms that apply to those independent services.
Location features
If a manufacturer service uses GPS or device location, review how precise location is collected, retained, shared, and controlled within that service.
Access and household data
Connected doors and sensors may create activity records or alerts. Review manufacturer settings to understand what information is stored and who can access it.
QR and NFC visibility
Information intentionally placed on a scannable pet tag may be accessible to anyone who scans it. Only publish information you are comfortable making available through that tag.
